- Free home inspection for lead by Environmental Health Staff and Public Health Nursing, case management when needed
- Some off-site blood lead testing is done by Public Health Nurses, by appointments at Head Start Centers and WIC sites
- Clients can be referred to the Public Health Service on a self-referral basis and through multiple health and human service agencies

- Free and confidential assistance to parents of children with special health care needs
- A child eligible is between the ages of birth to 21 years who has a long term chronic physical, developmental, behavorial, or emotional illness or condition
- Public Health Nurse provides information about resources and services available
- Assists with processes for obtaining the resources
- Children may be assisted by the Public Health Nurse on a long term basis through age 20 years

Children's Oral Health Program 1316 North 14th Street Suite 324 Superior, WI 54880 View Map Phone: (715) 395-1304 Fax: (715) 395-1434 | - Oral screening, education, toothbrush prophylaxis, and fluoride varnish and sealant applications done by a dental hygienist, assisted by a Public Health Nurse
- Nurse also assists with referrals for any necessary dental problems
- This service should not take the place of regular dental checkups
- Wisconsin Medicaid and grants help to offset the cost for providing this preventive service
- In addition to individual appointments at the Public Health Service, rural clinics are conducted at schools and other civic and health care agencies throughout the year
- Children are seen by appointment and can be referred to the Public Health Service on a self-referral basis and through multiple health and human service agencies
